How do I sign up as a contributor and what is the process I have to go through for acceptance ?

A. Either from the home page or the left hand menu, click on the "Sell Stock" button and fill out the application form completely and tell us a bit about yourself. We’ll review your application and you will receive an email stating your acceptance or not.

Q. How and when do I get paid ? How much, etc. ?

A. Photographers get paid 20% of the gross sale of their imagery. As this product is a low-priced, micro-stock solution, the margins are much tighter while the cost to transact remains relatively high. 20% represents roughly 50% of the profit margin. Photographers are paid once their payables reach $100 or every three months; whichever comes first.

Q. Why are some of my photos rejected ?

A. in order for the photos to be "searchable" on the database, they must contain certain information such as Keywords and Descriptions, etc. These are variables that you must assign to your images otherwise they will be rejected. Once you receive a "rejected" email, it will tell you why. If something is missing on the Metadata information which must be included, the email will tell you. Otherwise, the image may be out of focus or otherwise not suitable due to content.
